The Mini D2S 3.0 that became so popular for its stellar performance, the new 4TL-R Bi-xenon is based upon the same architecture, but scaled down in size and given new mounting points for direct-use in place of many modern OEM projectors!
Simple, the mounting points are based on the same bolt pattern as the 4G Acura TL low beam xenon projectors that many Japanese cars use from the factory like the new Accord, Acura TL, Toyota Sienna, and Honda Odyssey! Gotta love being able to open your housing, unbolt your old weak projector, and swap in something that performs 10x better (and has a bi-xenon high beam!)
They produce a very wide beam pattern with a perfect distribution of light and top it off with a supremely sharp cutoff that will blow your mind. We’re gonna go ahead and say not many projectors will out-shine the 4TL-R. Even with a clear lens swap and an experienced hand, you would be hard-pressed to tune your OEM 4G TL low beam projectors to even come close performance-wise!
As a relative to Morimoto’s Mini D2S, the 4TL-R shares the same precision! The castings, the materials used for the bi-xenon mechanism and it’s moving parts, to the the finishes applied from front to back are the market’s demanded all along: OEM quality in an aftermarket setting.
